When I first started sewing, I thought I wasn’t very good at it. (And at first, I was probably right!) But after years of practice, I still wasn’t satisfied with the quality of my work. That changed (and changed the trajectory of my entire life) when I anted up and purchased a quality sewing machine. Suddenly, the quality of my finish was much better. It never occurred to me that I might be limited by the quality of my sewing tools. Now, atop my proverbial “SewpBox”, I am all about the right tool for the right job. You’re only as good as the tools you have, whether they be your hands, a sewing gizmo, or your sewing machine.
